Therefore, in order to prevent the occurrence of transmission line external breakage accidents, it is necessary to inspect transmission lines. Due to the uncertainty of transmission line breakage factors, the traditional manual inspection method is labor-intensive and has a long re-inspection cycle, while the image or video-based spatial positioning accuracy of power patrol is low, often resulting in false alarms and inability to accurately predict the risk of breakage. In this regard, our company has developed a "new equipment" to prevent external breakage - Transmission line LiDAR point cloud online monitoring deviceDX-WPS100-JG2, which is able to further enhance the new dimension of power grid security.



      Transmission line LiDAR point cloud anti-external breakage monitoring device adopts AI camera and LiDAR integrated structure design, the principle is as follows:

      1, through the laser radar to transmit laser pulses and receive the reflected back laser signal, to obtain the transmission line and its surrounding environment of the point cloud data, these point cloud data can be used to build the three-dimensional model of the transmission line, can accurately measure the distance between the line and the target object, the error is ≤ 0.25m.

      2, AI camera can real-time acquisition of transmission line image information, the default monitoring cycle of 5 minutes (adjustable), with the front-end image analysis function, can intelligently identify various types of hidden targets, and combined with the point cloud data fusion calibration, in the discovery of hidden problems at the same time measuring the distance of hidden problems. Recognition of hidden danger immediately uploaded to the monitoring center wirelessly, no hidden danger timed return.


      Specifically, transmission line LiDAR point cloud anti-external breakage monitoring devices can be used in the following areas:

      1, line corridor feature safety distance detection: can be highly efficient, high precision, safe and fast to realize the overhead line channel inspection work, including tree obstacle detection, detection of feature danger points, line cross over statistical analysis;

      2、Three-dimensional reconstruction of the line channel: the use of LiDAR technology to obtain high-precision point cloud data of the current scene, which can support the three-dimensional modeling of the power grid lines and the surrounding environment in the channel;

      3, external breakage hidden danger analysis: based on the classified point cloud data and automatically extracted power line vector data, the distance between the line and the ground/feature below the line corridor can be calculated, such as tree barriers, construction machinery, etc., and automatically according to the setting of the distance to the graded warning;

      4, change detection: through the LiDAR timed scanning, real-time update point cloud data, combined with real-time image information, timely detection of dynamic changes in the main features of the line, providing basic data support for power inspection and safety warning.

      In addition, the Transmission Line Lidar Point Cloud Anti-Exterior Breakage Monitoring Device adopts transmission line reconstruction optimization algorithms suitable for edge computing to solve the problem of invisibility of distant transmission line point clouds, while the device is based on a combination of solar panel and battery power supply method to solve the problem of insufficient power for long-term outdoor operation.
